along it. This link line allows drivers to select their route
either along the main line to
the station or back to the viaduct thus avoiding the station and
allowing continuous running without being held in the station by locos
taking on water or passengers. For obvious reasons it is unlikely
that paying passengers will ever travel along the bypass, but it will
be a real benefit to society members running locos on members running
days.
