Pinewood Miniature Railway Society
7 1/4 inch gauge GWR King 4-6-0 6024 'King Edward I'

The King Class was the Great Western Railway's most powerful express locomotive.  The drawings for this 1/8th scale loco were developed from Swindon Works drawings by Trevor Shortland, with castings by Reeves.

Something of a 'barn find', this loco was subject to a complete strip down and rebuild at Denver Light Railway before being fit to run. A couple of articles were published by the owner during this time in club magazines, the longer version here and the shorter version here.

Length 101” (including tender), Cylinders: 4nbr 1.75” diameter x 3.5” stroke.
